Intellectual Property Policy

This Intellectual Property Policy ("IP Policy") explains how Tinstodo's intellectual property is protected, and what rights users have over content they create within the application. It supplements our Terms of Service.

1. Tinstodo's Intellectual Property

Tinstodo owns all rights, title, and interest in and to the following:

• Branding — the Tinstodo name, wordmark, logo, and all associated brand assets
• Application design — all user interface layouts, colour schemes, typography choices, and visual design
• Source code — all application source code, backend services, database schemas, and configuration
• Original content — all marketing copy, documentation, and help content produced by Tinstodo
• Trade secrets — proprietary business logic, architectural decisions, and implementation details

These assets are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in our Terms of Service are reserved by Tinstodo.

2. User Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of the content you create within Tinstodo, including:

• Task titles, descriptions, and notes
• Categories and organisational structures you create
• Any other data you enter into the application

By submitting content to the Service, you grant Tinstodo a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display that content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you. This licence terminates when you delete the content or your account.

3. Prohibited Activities

Without our express written permission, you may not:

• Copy or reproduce the Tinstodo application, design, code, or branding in whole or in part
• Reverse engineer or decompile any component of the Service
• Scrape or harvest data from the Service using automated tools
• Redistribute or resell access to the Service or any of its content
• Create derivative works based on the Service's design, code, or branding
• Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices on the Service
• Use our trademarks in any way that suggests endorsement by or affiliation with Tinstodo without written consent

4. Third-Party Intellectual Property

You may not upload or submit to the Service any content that infringes the copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights of any third party. By submitting content, you represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to do so.

5. Copyright Infringement Reporting

If you believe that content accessible through our Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice containing the following information to our designated agent:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorised agent
• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
• A description of where the allegedly infringing material is located within the Service
• Your contact information (name, address, phone number, and email address)
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf

6. Trademark Infringement Reporting

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this IP Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
